GREASING PUMP DRIVE SHAFT COUPLER

With engine stopped, ensure drive shaft alignment
by grasping coupler and sliding back and forth.
Coupler should slide freely with approximately 1/8”
of end play. If coupler does not slide freely, inspect
for loose pump mount bolts, or damaged or loose
crank shaft adapter. Inject Lithium-Complex
Extreme Pressure grease conforming to NLGI2-ISO
320 specifications into coupler until grease begins
to protrude from ends. Grease daily or every 8
hours. Do not over grease.

DRIVE SHAFT YOKE, U-JOINT 7STUB SHAFT

With engine stopped, inject Lithium-Complex
extreme pressure grease confirming to NLGI2-ISO
320 specifications into universal joints and slip yoke
until grease appears at the seal. Grease them daily
or every 8 hours.
