CONNECTING OTHER
EQUIPMENT
To dub/edit video tapes using two VCRs
To connect equipment for dubbing/editing
Connect the output jacks of the playback VCR to the input jacks (VIDEO 1, VIDEO 2 or VIDEO 3) on the TV.
Connect the output jacks (VIDEO/AUDIO OUT) on the TV to the input jacks of the recording VCR.

Note:
Do not connect one VCR to the output and input jacks on the TV at the same time.
To monitor dubbing/editing
Turn on the TV and both VCRs.
Press TV/VIDEO on the Remote Control (or ANT/
VIDEO on the TV) to select the input source of the
playback VCR.
Set the recording VCR to record mode and the
playback VCR to play.
You can view the video signal from the playback
VCR on the TV screen while dubbing it onto the
recording VCR.
CAUTION:
The unauthorized recording of television programs,
video tapes and other materials may infringe upon the
provisions of the copyright laws.
Notes:
• The input switch of the VCR is normally in the TV
position. Change the switch of the recording VCR to
the LINE or CAMERA position when using the video/
audio inputs of the VCR as above. Some VCRs
automatically switch when cables are plugged into the
video/audio inputs.
• The PIP picture cannot be output through the VIDEO
OUTPUT.
