CONNECTING OTHER EQUIPMENT
Connect the VIDEO 1 or VIDEO 2 IN jacks on the rear panel of the TV to the video/audio output jacks of the VCR, Laser
Disc Player, etc. for playback of video recordings.

To select the video input source
Press TV/VIDEO on the Remote Control (or ANT/VIDEO
on the TV) repeatedly to select the appropriate source.
Each time you press the button, the TV, VIDEO 1, VIDEO
2, VIDEO 3, or COLOR STREAM source will be selected
in order.
Select “VIDEO 1” in this example.
The selected source will be displayed in purple. Note on the VIDEO 2 IN jacks
The VIDEO 2 IN jacks can also be used for connecting a
second piece of video equipment with video/audio
outputs.
To view signals from equipment connected to the VIDEO
2 IN jacks, select “VIDEO 2.”
Note on the VIDEO 3 INPUT jacks
The VIDEO 3 INPUT jacks on the TV front panel are
convenient for connecting portable video/audio
equipment.
To view signals from equipment connected to the VIDEO
3 INPUT jacks, select “VIDEO 3.”
Note:
If you connect a monaural VCR, connect the audio
output of the VCR to the L/MONO jack.
