To activate the Surround sound function

Enhancing the Surround
Sound Effect
• This TV allows you to activate or deactivate the stereo surround effect.
Select the “STR” (stereo) mode
following steps 1 through 3 on the
previous page.
Press MENU, then press or until
the PREMIUM menu appears.
Press or to select “SURROUND.”
Press or to highlight “On.”
To deactivate the Surround sound function
Select “Off” in step 4 above.
Note:
Normally you can leave the MTS function set to “STR” and the
SURROUND sound function set to “On”. The TV will automatically
produce either Surround, stereo or monaural, whichever is broadcast.
