Power Problems
Lower feed roll shaft
rotates, but paper
does not feed.
Pressing FormFeed
does not feed paper.
Abnormal noise
created while
feeding.
Paper jams, skews
or creases.
Incorrect or no line
spacing: wider,
narrower, or
overlapping lines.
Push/Pull Tractor
does not work.
Be sure the paper select lever is in the correct
position.

page 2-23.
Incorrect Top of
Form positioning. Go to “Top-Of-Forms Service Check” on
page 2-32 .
Symptom Action
When the power
switch is on, the
Power light does not
turn on or the printer
does not start.
The Power light
blinks or changes
intensity.
Check continuity of the power cord and the voltage
of the user’s outlet.
