Quick Setup
Table 3-1 gives a quick overview of the CL-810 installation process. The sections
following this one provide detailed instructions.
Installation should be performed by a qualified custom video
installation specialist.

Choose a location for the projector

Install the CineWide (secondary anamorphic) lens (optional)

Mount the projector

If installing with an SDC-1, connect ONLY the SDC-1
output to the CL-810 and make all other connections to the
SDC-1; continue with Step 7
-- OR --
If installing without an SDC-1, connect signal sources to
the CL-810 and continue with Step 5

Connect external controller to RS-232 port (optional)

Connect other home theater components to 12-volt trigger
outputs (optional)

Apply power to the projector

Change the OSD Language (optional)

For rear-screen and/or ceiling-mount installations, select
the proper picture orientation

Lens adjustments: projected image size (zoom), position
(shift) and focus

Projector calibration: adjust the following
for each input,
starting with Component 1; save settings when finished:
• Aspect ratio
• Brightness
• Contrast
• Color level
• Tint
• Input position
