Step 6 Delete Unwanted Pictures

Press the
l button to delete the
picture currently displayed in the
monitor.

Press the multi selector
H or I to choose the
desired deletion method and press the
k
button.
• Current image: Delete the currently displayed full-
frame picture.
• Erase selected images: Select multiple pictures and
delete them. See “Operating the Erase Selected Images
Screen” (
A 35) for more information.
• All images: Delete all pictures.
• To exit without deleting the picture, press the d button.

Press
H or I to choose Yes and press the k
button.
• Deleted pictures cannot be recovered.
• To exit without deleting the picture, press H or I to
select No and press the
k button.

Notes on Deleting Pictures
• Once deleted, pictures cannot be recovered. Transfer important pictures to a computer or other
media before deleting them.
• Protected pictures cannot be deleted (A 71).

Deleting the Last Picture Taken while in Shooting Mode
In shooting mode, press the
l button to delete the last picture that was saved.
