z [FAVORITE]
You can do the following if a mark [z] has been added to pictures and they have been
set as favorites.
• Play back the pictures set as favorite. ([FAVORITE PLAY])
• Play back only the pictures set as favorites as a slide show.
• Delete all the pictures not set as favorites. ([ALL DELETE EXCEPT z])
• Print only the pictures set as favorites.
1 Select [FAVORITE] on the [PLAYBACK] menu. (P 21 )
2 Press r to select [ON] and then press [MENU/
SET].
• You cannot set pictures as favorites if [FAVORITE] is set
to [OFF]. Also the favorites icon [z] will not appear when
[FAVORITE] is set to [OFF] even if it was previously set to
[ON].
3 Press [MENU/SET] to close the menu.
4 Press w/q to select a picture which you want to
put on your favorites list, and then press r.
• Repeat the above procedure if necessary.
• [z] is added on the picture put in your favorites list.
• If you want to remove a picture from the favorites list, press
r again.
Canceling all favorites
1 Select [CANCEL] on the screen shown in step 2 and then press [MENU/SET].
2 Press e to select [YES] and then press [MENU/SET].
3 Press [MENU/SET] to close the menu.
• You cannot select [CANCEL] if no picture is on your favorites list.
Note
• You can place up to 999 pictures in your favorites list.
• When printing pictures at a photo printing store, [ALL DELETE EXCEPT z] (P 41 ) is
useful so only the pictures you want to be printed remain on the card.
• You may not be able to set pictures shot on other equipment as favorites.

