Using Password Reception
There is no additional operation required once you set the parameter by following the procedure on page 112.
The parameter, “OFF” or “ON”, cannot be selected for each reception. It is always “OFF” or “ON” until you
change the setting.

If your machine's Transmission Password coincides with
the other station's Transmission Password, your machine
starts sending the document.
When transmission is completed, PASSWORD-XMT
returns to standard setting (“OFF” or “ON”).
