You can set voice messages from the Playback menu as well.

Press the MENU button in Playback mode.
The [Playback] menu is displayed.

Select [Playback Message] from the [Playback] menu.

Press the four-way controller (5).
The Voice Message Recording screen will be displayed.

Press the four-way controller (45)
to select the image to be used for
the voice message.
Images with added voice memos U are the
only images sent using the four-way
controller.

Press the OK button.
“A voice message has been set” is displayed, the O button flashes, and
the camera goes into Standby mode.
You can play back a voice message.

Press the O button.
The image will be displayed and the voice memo will be played back.

Playing Back a Voice Message
• Turn the camera on during voice message settings to perform regular
operations. Turn the camera off again to return to voice message
recording.
• To switch from voice message recording to Capture mode, turn the
camera off and then turn it on again.
