Using the TOOLS menu
Va rious functions can be called out according to the
player’s operating status.
1 Display the TOOLS menu.
P ress TOOLS.
2 Select and set the item.
Use / to select, then press ENTER.
Note
• Items that cannot be changed a re displayed in gray.
The items that can be selected de pend on the player’s
status.
 To change the setting of the

 To close the TOOLS menu
P ress TOOLS or RETURN.

Switching the video
output terminal to be
viewed
Use the procedure below to switch the video output signal
to be viewed between the HDMI OUT terminal and an
analog out put terminal ( COMPONENT VIDEO or VIDEO
out put terminals).
Caution
• The picture may not be displayed for a while when the
video out put terminal is switched.
• When the HDMI OUT terminal is selected, no video
signals a re output from the other video output
te rminals.
• When a video out put terminal other than the HDMI
OUT terminal is selected, no audio and video signals
a
re output from the HDMI OUT terminal.
 Press VIDEO SELECT.
• The cu rrent video output terminal is displayed on the
TV sc reen and on the player’s front panel display.
To switch the video out put terminals, press VIDEO
SELECT again or press /.
• The video out put terminal setting can also be
switched by pressing   /  on the
player’s front panel.

Slideshow Play a slideshow of the image files on the
selected disc o
r folder.
Play Mode Dis play the Play Mode screen (page 33).
Video Adjust Dis play the picture quality adjustment
sc reen (page 39).
Seconda ry Video Switch the BD-ROM’s seconda ry video
(Pictu re-in-Picture) (page 31).
Subtitle Switch the subtitles ( page 30).
Angle Switch the BD-ROM/DVD-Video disc’s
came
ra angles (page 30).
Rotate Rotate the image while playing a
slideshow ( page 37).
Audio Adjust Dis play the audio adjustment menu
( page 40).
Audio Switch the audio ( page 31).
Seconda ry Audio Switch the BD-ROM’s seconda ry audio
( page 31).

Delete f rom HMG

Delete the selected t rack or file from the
HMG Playlist ( page 38).
Out put Video
Resolution
Switch the out put video resolution from
the va rious output terminals (page 27).
Delete all playlists Clea rs all the titles/chapters from the
playlist.
