Making internal calls

When you have more than one handset, you can make internal calls free of charge
between handsets subscribed to the same base station.

Press

e

.

You hear the internal dial tone and the

e

symbol is shown on the display.

Dial the number of the handset you want to call.

This is the 1 digit number shown on its display.

To hang up, press

t

(or

e

) or replace the handset on the base station.

Answering internal calls

When another handset calls you, your handset will ring with the internal call
melody, the

e

symbol will blink on the display and the number of the handset

calling you will be displayed.

Press

t

(or

e

) or simply lift the handset off the base station.

The

e

symbol is displayed.

To hang up, press

t

(or

e

) or replace the handset on the base station.

Transferring calls

You can transfer an outside call from one handset to another handset subscribed
to the same base station.

During the call, press

e

.

The

t

and

e

symbols are displayed and you hear the internal dial tone.

The outside call is put on hold.

Dial the number of the handset to which you wish to transfer the call.

The handset called starts ringing.

Once the other handset answers, you can either:

- Transfer the call by pressing

t

.

- Switch back and forth between the other handset and your outside

call by using

e

.

If the other handset does not reply, you can return to your outside call by
pressing

e

, or you can hang up both your outside and internal call by

pressing

t

.

Call waiting

When you are in an internal call, you may receive an outside call. You will be
informed of the outside call by a call waiting tone in the earpiece.

To answer the outside call, first press

t

to hang up the internal call. Your handsets

will ring, announcing the outside call. Press

t

again to answer the outside call.
