Using advanced functions
Inserting automatic dialling pauses
You can set your telephone to automatically insert pauses when you dial certain
types of number. For example, you may want your Xalio Vox to pause after it has
dialled the prefix for an international call before dialling the rest of the number.
Press
R
to enter menu mode.
Press

until
BASE
SETUP
is displayed.
Press
o
until
PFX
is displayed.
Enter the desired prefix using the handset keypad. Use the
key to
insert a pause.
You can correct the prefix by using the
-
key to delete the last digit entered.
Press
o
.
The handset beeps to confirm that the prefix has been memorised.
Press
R
to leave menu mode.
For example:
To set your Xalio Vox to insert two pauses after dialling the international dialling
prefix, enter:
0
0
The display will show:
PFX 00
--
.....
Whenever you dial an international number with the 00 prefix, two pauses will be
inserted after the 00.
