Other Functions
3 Press
E or e to select a letter of the
alphabet.
Each press of
E will display a letter of the
alphabet in
A B C ... X Y Z
, numbers and symbols
in
1 2 3 ... @ # <
order. Each press of
e will
display a letter in the reverse order, such as
Z Y
X ... C B A
order.
• Pressing
5 or ∞ on the head unit also per-
forms the same operation.
4 Press
¡ to move the cursor to the next
character position.
When the letter you want is displayed, press
¡
to move the cursor to the next position and then
select the next letter. Press
1 to move back-
wards in the display.
• Pressing
2 or 3 on the head unit also per-
forms the same operation.
5 Move the cursor to the last position by
pressing
¡ after entering the title.
When you press
¡ one more time, the entered
title is stored in memory.
• Pressing
3 on the head unit also performs
the same operation.
6 Press
BAND/ESC
to return to the playback
display.
Using the telephone
muting/attenuation
Telephone muting/attenuation func-
tion
Sound from this system is muted or attenuated
automatically when a call is made or received
using a cellular telephone connected to this
product.
• The sound is turned off,
MUTE
or
ATT
is dis-
played and no audio adjustment is possible.
• Operation returns to normal when the phone
connection is ended.
Displaying built-in player
information
You can display the information concerning the
built-in player digital output setting.
Press
DISPLAY
on the head unit.
Press
DISPLAY
on the head unit repeatedly to
switch between the following settings:
PLAYBACK MODE A
(play time)—
PLAYBACK
MODE B
(play time and digital output setting
information)
• You can only switch to
PLAYBACK MODE B
when a Pioneer Multi-channel processor (DEQ-
P7050) is connected. If of the digital output is
set to LPCM, nothing will be displayed on the
display.
• When a Video CD is playing on the built-in
player,
PLAYBACK MODE B
will be skipped.
