Using the AC Power adapter (sold separately)
Connecting to a TV
The AC Power Adapter is useful since it allows you to take pictures, play back images (connected
to a TV, etc.) and connect to a computer without worrying about using up the battery charge.

Check that the camera is turned off. Open the
terminal cover and plug the AC power adapter
connector into the “DC IN 5V” socket. Then plug
the AC power adapter into a power outlet.
● ! Use only the FUJIFILM products listed above.
● ! See P.130 for notes on using the AC power adapter.
● ! The socket-outlet shall be installed near the equipment and
shall be easily accessible.
● ! The shape of the plug and socket-outlet depends on the
country of use.
Turn off the camera and TV. Open the terminal
cover and plug the bundled video cable into the
camera’s “VIDEO OUT” (video output) socket. 1

● ! If there is a power outlet available, connect the AC Power
Adapter AC-5VX.
Plug the other end of the cable into the video input
socket on the TV. Then turn the camera and TV on
and take pictures or play back images as you
would normally. 2

SELF-TIMER
DURATION Sets the running time for the self-timer.

LCD ILLUMINATION Allows you to change the settings so that the LCD
illumination lights when buttons are used.

1: OFF AF-ASSIST
ILLUMINATOR Allows you to prevent the built-in AF-assist illuminator
from operating. Note that this may prevent the auto
focus from successfully setting the focus in some cases.
