Setting dialling mode (tone/pulse)
For Australian users only
“
Tone” (default): Select when you have a touch
tone service.
“
Pulse”: Select when you have rotary or pulse
service.
1. Press $ (centre of joystick).
2. Select u, then press ,.
3. Enter “
0000” (default base unit PIN).

4. Select “
Call Option”, then press ,.
5. Select “
Dial Mode”, then press ,.
6. Select the desired setting, then press ,.

Changing the recall length
Change the recall length of the cordless
handset, if necessary, depending on the
requirements of your service provider or PBX.

Setting pause length
Change the pause length of the cordless
handset, if necessary, depending on the
requirements of your service provider or PBX.
“
Short” (default): 3 sec.
“
Long”: 5 sec.

Storing/changing emergency numbers
These settings determine which telephone
numbers can be dialled while the call bar feature
is ON (feature #28 on page 68, or page 76).
1. Press $ (centre of joystick).
2. Select u, then press ,.
3. Enter “
0000” (default base unit PIN).

Emergency Call”, then press

6. Select a memory location, then press ,.

If the memory location already contains
an emergency number, the number is
displayed.
7. Enter/edit the number, up to 24 digits, then
press ,.
8. Press {ih}.
Setting call restriction
You can restrict selected cordless
handsets/base unit from dialling certain
numbers. You can assign up to 6 telephone
numbers to be restricted, and select which
cordless handsets/base unit will be restricted.
Storing area codes here will prevent the
restricted cordless handsets/base unit from
dialling any telephone number in that area code.
If a restricted number is dialled, the call will not
be connected.
