2. Wipe the test strip holder gently with a
cotton swab or soft cloth dampened with
water. Thoroughly wipe the gray area on
the inside cover. Clean both sides of the
test strip holder base, especially around
the hole.
Dry the test strip holder com-
pletely with a soft cloth or lint–free tis-
sue.

1. Press down at the top end (near blue
power button) of the test strip holder and
slide it away from the meter.
Always clean the meter
when this symbol
appears.
