Remove the jammed paper.

Lift up the duplex unit and remove the jammed paper.

Pull out cassette 1 and remove the jammed paper.
If the paper tears, remove every loose scrap from inside the
machine.

Push cassette 1 securely back in place.

Press the indicated position to close left cover 1.
Paper Feed Unit
Follow the steps below to clear paper jams in the paper feed unit.

Pull up left cover 1 lever and open left cover 1.
