STORING DTMF NUMBERS FOR AUTOMATIC
DIALER
To store a DTMF number with a maximum of 16 digits in
any of 10 dedicated DTMF memory channels, follow the
procedure below.
Note:
Audible DTMF tones from other transceivers near you may be
picked up by your microphone. If so, this could prevent the function from
working correctly.

Press [F], [BAND] to enter Menu mode.

Select Menu No. 10 (DTMFMR).

Press [BAND].
• The display for entering a DTMF number appears.

Use the keypad to enter the digits of the number to
be stored.
• The corresponding DTMF tones are heard.
• If you enter incorrect digits, press [LOW] to erase all
digits entered.

Press [BAND] to complete entry.
• The display for entering a channel number appears.

Press a single key [0] to [9] to select the desired
channel.
• The entered number is stored in the selected channel.

Press any key other than [BAND], [LAMP], [MONI],
and [0] to [9] to exit Menu mode.
CONFIRMING STORED DTMF NUMBERS

Press [F], [BAND] to enter Menu mode.

Select Menu No. 10 (DTMFMR).

Press a single key [0] to [9] to select the desired
channel.
• The number stored in the channel scrolls across the
display accompanied by DTMF tones from the speaker.

Press any key other than [BAND], [LAMP], [MONI],
and [0] to [9] to exit Menu mode.
