Home Screen
The home screen refers to the initial state of the phone. This is also called the idle state. The home
screen has the following elements:
1. Top row icons. The top row of the screen has a set
of small icons that display signal strength, battery
life, message alerts, and other information.
2. Top row shortcuts. Your phone has the following
shortcuts:
– Email to view email.
– Messaging to view messages.
– Contacts to view contacts.
3. Banner area. The banner area displays a greeting
banner, date, and time.
4. Bottom row shortcuts. Your phone has the following
shortcuts:
– Dialer to call a number.
– Downloads to shop for applications.
– Browser to browse the web.
