Using the Voice Recorder
This feature allows you to record voice data in standby mode.
Your phone can store up to 20 voice recordings and the total
available recording time is 60 minutes.
Tip:
If you haven’t signed up for Sprint PCS Ready Link service and Ready Link
mode is set to “Disable,” you can use the Ready Link/Recorder button (
) as a
Voice Recorder button in standby mode.
Displaying the Voice Recorder Menu
To display the voice recorder menu:
1.
Press
to access the main menu.
2.
Select Tools/Extras and press
.
3.
Select Voice Services and press
.
4.
Select Voice Recorder and press
.
Shortcut:
You can also display the voice recorder menu by pressing Ready Link/
Recorder button (
) or
Voice Rec
(left softkey) in standby mode.
*This shortcut becomes available when you disable Sprint PCS Ready Link mode.
Recording a Voice Memo
To record a voice memo:
1.
From the voice recorder menu, select Record or Record:Speaker
and press
.
2.
Start recording after the beep.

Press Pause (right softkey) to pause the recording. To restart
recording, press Record (right softkey).

To finish recording, press

, or
.
To set the audio quality:
1.
Display the voice recorder menu (see above).
2.
Select Record or Record:Speaker and press Settings (right
softkey).
3.
Select Audio Quality and press
.
4.
Select High or Low and press
.
Note:
When Audio Quality setting is High, the total recording time will be
reduced.
