Preview View

In SlickEdit
®
Core v3.3, the Preview view replaces the Symbol view found in previous versions.
The Preview view does not have a search capability, so you should use the new
to search for symbols. This provides you with more power and more control over your sym-
bol searching.
The Preview view provides a portal for viewing information in other files without having to open them in
the editor. It automatically shows this information when you are working with certain features. See

for more information.
To open the Preview view, click Window
→
Show View
→
Other, expand SlickEdit Views and double-
click Preview.
