Alert Notification
Your phone comes with several different options to keep you
aware of what’s going on by sounding the alert or ringer.
To set the alerts:
1. Press
to access the main menu.
2. Select Settings.
3. Select Sounds.
4. Select Alerts.
5. Select your desired option.

Service sets alert On or Off for network services parameter
changes.
ᮣ
10-4 sets an alert to notify you of 10-4 calls. Select 10-4 Calls,
10-4 Missed or Headset Alert for notifying you of taking the
floor while using a headset.
ᮣ
Voicemail sets an alert to notify you of caller’s message(s).
Select Ringer Length to set the ringer length of Voicemail
notification.
ᮣ
Messaging sets an alert to notify you of Text, Picture Message,
or Web Alerts. Select Ringer Length to set the ringer length of
Messaging notification.
ᮣ
Minute Beep sets a minute reminder that beeps ten seconds
before the end of each minute during a call.
ᮣ
Signal Fade sets alert to notify you when your phone loses a
signal during a call.
6. Use your navigation key to select a setting and press
.
Tip:
You can select

or
Repeat Alert
if you select 10-4 Calls,
10-4 Missed, Voicemail, or Messaging.
Repeat Alert
sounds an alert
every two minutes for twenty minutes. (For 10-4 Calls, it sounds for
20 seconds continuously.)
