Cable • Cable connection by Belden 9182 (single pair) or Belden
SSD1743 (two pairs) or equivalent; two pairs of wires are re-
quired to support redundancy

Cable • Fiber optics connection by 62.5 multi-mode cable corresponding
to 10BaseFL Ethernet specification
• Two pairs of fibers are required to support redundancy
• Type ST mating connectors provided for field connection
• Approximately 3 mbps base transmission rate; uses dedicated
transmission technique that does not require collision detection to
achieve high data throughput efficiency
