Press ENTER/YES on the remote again
if the point to be divided is correct.

If the point to be divided is incorrect, press
. or > on the remote to find the point
to be divided, then press ENTER/YES on
the remote.
You can shift the point by 1/86 second
(1 frame) intervals.*

* You can shift the point by 2-frame intervals (in

Monaural mode and LP2 Stereo mode) or by
4-frame intervals (in LP4 Stereo mode).

Tip

To shift the point by minute or second intervals in
step 6 , press m or M on the remote repeatedly to
flash minute, second, or frame indication, then press
. or > on the remote.

Note

If you divide a labelled track (page 28) into two
tracks, only the first track retains the track title.

Combining recorded
tracks

— Combine Function

You can use this function to combine 2 tracks
into a single track. The total number of tracks
decreases by one and all tracks following the
combined ones are renumbered.

Example: Combining track 3 to track 1.

Press MD on the remote.

Press MENU/NO on the remote to
display “Edit Menu”.
