Tip
You can also register tracks that were recorded on a
system that does not support the Group Function.
Notes
• You cannot register the same track to multiple
groups.
• When creating a group without registering any
tracks, you must enter the group title.
• If you do not enter a group title in step 5, “Group **
(group number)” appears instead of the group title.
Registering recorded
tracks into a new group
— Create Function
This function allows you to create a new group
and register a track or consecutive tracks which
are not yet registered into that group.

Press MD on the remote.

Press GROUP ON/OFF repeatedly until
GROUP indicator lights up.

Press MENU/NO on the remote to
display “Edit Menu”.

Press . or > on the remote
repeatedly until “Gp Create?” appears,
then press ENTER/YES on the remote.

Perform steps 3 to 6 of “Labelling an
MD” on page 28.

Press . or > on the remote
repeatedly until the first track number
you want to register appears, then
press ENTER/YES on the remote.

Press . or > on the remote
repeatedly until the last track number
you want to register appears, then
press ENTER/YES on the remote.
(When registering only one track,
simply press ENTER/YES on the remote
again without performing any other
operations.)
To create a group without
registering any tracks
In step 6, press . or > on the remote
repeatedly until “None” appears, then press
ENTER/YES on the remote.
