Press MD on the remote.

Perform the following procedure
depending on what you want to label:
To label a track
Press . or > on the remote repeatedly
until the desired track number appears, then
press NAME EDIT/SELECT on the remote.
To label an MD
Press NAME EDIT/SELECT on the remote
while the total number of tracks (or groups
when the Group Function is on) is
displayed.
To label a group
Press GROUP ON/OFF repeatedly until
GROUP indicator lights up, then press
GROUP SKIP repeatedly until the desired
group appears. Press NAME EDIT/
SELECT on the remote while the total
number of tracks within the desired group is
displayed.

Press NAME EDIT/SELECT on the
remote repeatedly to select the desired
type of character.

Alphabet (upper cases)/ Selected AB
blank space/symbols
Alphabet (lower cases)/ Selected ab
blank space/symbols
Numbers Selected 12

Enter a character.
Character type Do this
Alphabet Press the corresponding
letter button (or ./
>) on the remote
repeatedly until the
character to be entered
flashes, then press
CURSOR

remote.
Numbers Press the corresponding
numeric buttons on the
remote.
Blank space Press 10/0 on the remote.
´ – / , . ( ) : ! ? Press 1 on the remote
repeatedly.
& + < > _ = “ ; # $ % Press 1 on the remote,

` then press ./> on
the remote repeatedly.

Repeat steps 3 and 4 to enter the rest
of the name.

Press ENTER/YES on the remote.
