Editing Groups

! Moving a track to another group

On a group-recorded MD, you can move a track to a different
group. (Group change)
[Operate with the multi-link station]

! Creating a group before recording

You can create a group in advance and record tracks in it.
(Group reserve)
[Operate with the multi-link station]

Insert a group-recorded Mini-
Disc.

Whilst in the stop mode or pause mode, select the
track to move by pressing the

or

button.

Press the MENU button.
The unit enters the menu select mode.

Select "GROUP EDIT" by press-
ing the

or

button and

press the ENTER/-USB button.

Select "CHANGE" by pressing
the

or

button and press

the ENTER/-USB button.

Select the destination group by
pressing the

or

button.

Press the ENTER/-USB button.
The track will be moved, and the
unit will be stopped or paused at
the beginning of the track.

Notes:

" When all the tracks in a group are moved to different

groups, the group and the group name will be erased.

" Non-group tracks can also be moved to a group using the

GROUP CHANGE function.

Enter a group name (pages 58 - 59, steps 5 - 6).
Otherwise, you will not be able to create a group.

Hold down the ENTER/-USB
button for 2 seconds or more.
The created group name will be
displayed.

To record in the created group:
Refer to "Recording by group" (page 54).

Note:
Even if you create a group using the GROUP RESERVE func-
tion, it will not be played if no track is recorded in it. (Group
name will not be displayed either.) To check the contents of
the group, refer to "To search a desired group" (page 56).
