For battery operation:
•
Insert a 9-volt battery into the battery box. See the Battery Box
Operation

•
Plug the scanner's 9-pin connector at the end of the coil cord into one
end of the battery box.
•
An output cable from the battery box connects the LS 3603 to the
RS-232C input device. Connect one end of this cable to the battery box
and the other to the appropriate port on the host device.
