NOTE: Every six (6) months take the scooter to a qualified technician for a thorough inspection and
servicing. Regular cleaning will reveal loose or worn parts and enhance the smooth operation of the scooter.
To operate properly and safely, the scooter must be cared for just like any other vehicle.
Routine maintenance will extend the life and efficiency of the scooter.
Initial adjustments should be made to suit your personal body structure and preference.
Thereafter follow these maintenance procedures:

INITIALLY WEEKLY MONTHLY PERIODICALLY
GENERAL
Scooter drives straight (no excessive
drag/pull to one side). X X
Check frame for damage and corrosion. X X
BRAKE (SECTION 3)
Does not bind or interfere with travel. X X
Brake easy to disengage/engage. X X
DRIVE WHEELS (SECTION 7)
No excessive side movement or binding when
raised and turned. X X
FRONT WHEEL (SECTION 7)
Inspect wheel/fork assembly for proper tension
by spinning wheel, wheel should come to a
gradual stop. X X
Check front fork for damage and corrosion. X X
Loosen/tighten locknut if wheel wobbles
noticeably or binds to a stop. X X
Ensure that fork stem bearing set is tight. X X
Wheel bearings are clean and free of moisture. X X
CAUTION: As with any vehicle, the
wheels and tires should be checked
periodically for cracks and wear and
should be replaced.
TILLER (SECTION 6)
Ensure that tiller adjustment handle engages
and disengages properly and securely. X X
Scooter stops completely when throttle is
released (Does not continue to roll as if
throttle is activated). X X
SEAT (SECTION 4)
Inspect seat swivel for release and engagement
(seat locks into the determined swivel positions). X X
Inspect for rips, tears in upholstery. X X
