Auto Keypad Lock
You can enable/disable your radio’s auto keypad lock to avoid
inadvertent key entry.
Procedure:
1 c
to access the menu.

to select.

to Radio Settings and press

to select.

to Auto Keypad Lock and press

to select.
5 Press
c
to enable Auto Keypad Lock. The display shows 9
beside Enabled.
OR
Press

to disable Auto Keypad Lock. The 9 disappears
from beside Enabled.
Language
You can set your radio display to be in your required language.
Procedure:

to access the menu.

The display backlight, buttons, and keypad backlighting are
automatically turned off if the LED indicator is enabled (see
Controlling the Display Backlight on page 85).
