Security Codes – Windows 2000
Follow the instructions below to manually configure the security
code, also known as a network ID, of the wireless adapter connected
to your PC. The following dialog boxes describe how to set the
security code for Windows 2000 users.

2 Double-click on the Local Area Connection icon corresponding to
your HomeRF Adapter (not your Ethernet card). You’ll be able to
d i ff e rentiate the two by rolling your mouse over the icon. The
c o rresponding text designates the icon as either HomeRF or
E t h e rnet (the actual text depends on the vendor of your
E t h e rnet adapter).
