Enter the last three characters of your s i m p l e f i serial number.
2 Windows displays a dialog box while your PC discovers and
connects to your s i m p l e f i.
Your PC will discover and connect to your s i m p l e f i. If your PC does
not find your s i m p l e f i, try again by clicking the
add device button on
S i m p l e S e rve Console. Ensure you enter the last three characters of
your serial number corre c t l y.
If you already have a wireless network, see Appendix D, Configuring
IP Address Information for help on setting IP addre s s e s .
N O T E : When your PC successfully discovers your s i m p l e f i, you will
not need to repeat the discovery pro c e d u re. After you successfully
discover your s i m p l e f i, you will only need to use the
add device
button if you change your network settings.
