1. Blind Transfer: When a LINE is “ACTIVE”, user will get a dial tone by pressing

the “TRNF” button, then dial the number and press the “SEND” button, this will
transfer the other party in the corresponding LINE to the dialed number blindly.

2. Attended Transfer: When in conversation with an “ACTIVE” LINE as defined in

section 4.3.2, user shall press “TRNF” button, then press the next intended LINE
that is on “HOLD”.
If there is no LINE on HOLD, user will need to make a call and thus
automatically puts the current ACTIVE LINE on HOLD.

4.3.9 Checking Message and Message Waiting Indication


Pressing MSG button will trigger GXP-2000 to call the pre-configured voicemail server
number.

The MWI (Message Waiting Indicator) LED will flash in red in three quarter of a
second when voicemail server sent message waiting info to GXP-2000.

4.3.10 Mute and Delete


When in conversation with an ACTIVE LINE, pressing “MUTE/DEL” will mute the
conversation, that is, you can hear the other party but the other party can not hear you,
press the button again will resume the conversation.

When dialing a number, press “MUTE/DEL” will delete the last entered digit.

4.3.11 Speed Dial


There are 7 speed dial buttons, each can be configured with a different number to dial,
and a vertical rectangle pad can be used for labeling Speed Dial Number.
