FLASH
The following 5 flash modes are available.
The flash fires automatically when the light level
is low or the subject is backlit.
The flash fires every time a picture is taken
regardless of the brightness.
For example, select this mode to reduce the
harsh shadows when you take the picture out-
doors and the subject’s face is shaded with a hat.
The flash does not fire. Select this mode when
taking a picture in the place where the flash
photography is prohibited such as in a museum.
The flash fires the short burst 2 times before the
main flash burst to reduce the red-eye phenomenon.
Select this mode when taking a picture of people or
animals in the dark
*The flash fires even in long shutter night mode, to
get the best exposure of a subject.

Flash Range
The flash range has the limit. Take pictures by referring to the flash range indicated below.

The flash range:Tele 19.6 inches (50 cm)~98.4 inches (250 cm)
