Configuring Area Code Setup
Use the Area Code Setup menu to save up to three area codes. When
an incoming call arrives with an area code that matches one of the three
stored area codes, the incoming call number is reordered to display the
phone number followed by the area code (as opposed to the area code
followed by the phone number).
This reordering is also performed when you scroll through your Callers
List. To configure area codes, press the
Services key, select Telephone
Options , and select Call Log Option .
To configure default area codes (maximum of three):
1. Press the Up/Down navigation keys to
scroll and highlight Area Code Setup .
2. Press the Send/Enter key.
3. Press the Up/Down navigation keys to
scroll and highlight one of the following:
— Area Code # 1
— Area Code # 2
— Area Code # 3
4. Press the Send/Enter key.
5. Use the dialpad to enter the number at
the prompt.
