Troubleshooting
Before contacting Gray Interfaces
Technical Support, please use the
following checklist to troubleshoot
DMXDart Operation Problems:
Problem:
Unit not responding to Keypad
commands
Possible Solutions:
1) Disconnect Encoder wing and
repeat keypress
2) Manipulate Pointing device (
Lightly!) then repeat keypress.
3) Using a paperclip or piece of
wire, press RESET on rear of
unit.
Problem:
Pan/tilt movement is very slow using
joystick
Possible Solutions:
1) Check Lower Right corner of
display for “F” . “F” denotes
fine movement, and is
switched by pressing directly
down on the pointing device
2) After switching the coarse/fine
mode, operate the pointing
device by pressing VERY
LIGHTLY on the unit. The
IPD is much more effective if
operated from the side, rather
than the top of the device.
Pressing hard on the device
may impede the device’s
function, or cause permanent
damage to the unit.
