7. Install the expansion board.
IMPORTANT: The server does not power up if the PCI riser board assembly is not seated
properly.
8. Install the PCI riser board assembly (on page 18 ).
9. Connect all internal cables for expansion boards.
10. Install the access panel.
11. Install the server into the rack.
PCI-X riser board option
To install the component:
1. Power down the server (on page 16 ).
2. Remove the server from the rack (on page 16 ).
3. Remove the access panel (on page 17 ).
4. Disconnect all internal cables connected to existing expansion boards.
5. Remove the PCI riser board assembly (on page 17 ).
6. Remove all installed expansion boards.
