Controls and Buttons
System Controls
There are three system controls on your display unit. They are:
• ON/OFF switch – The ON/OFF switch, at the left side of the display unit,
enables power to your display unit.
• Brightness control - On the right side of the display unit, this thumb wheel
adjusts the display unit’s screen brightness. Use this control when the screen
display’s brightness needs adjusting.
• Contrast control – On the right side of the display unit, this thumb wheel
adjusts the screen display’s screen color contrast. Use this control when the
screen display’s clarity needs adjustment.
Core Buttons
The buttons below the navigation system’s display screen are called the core
buttons. These buttons are crucial to use your navigation system and to select
your destination. They generally have similar functionality too no matter what
screen is displayed. These button functions are as follows:
