IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When using this product, be sure to check the safety information indicated in this
manual and on the label of the device and the AC adapter.
WARNING
Operating Environment
• Operating environment temperature and humidity:
+5 °C to +35 °C (+41 °F to +95 °F); less than 80% relative humidity (ensure cooling
vents not blocked)
Do not install this unit in a poorly ventilated area, or in locations exposed to high
humidity or direct sunlight (or strong artificial light).
•
Ensure that water does not enter the device, and that it is kept dry. Do not use in
locations with high humidity. Doing so may lead to fire or electric shock.
•
Do not use in wet locations such as in bathrooms or shower rooms. Doing so may
lead to fire or electric shock.
Installation
• To prevent a fire hazard, do not place any naked flame sources (such as a lighted
candle) on or anywhere near the equipment.
• Do not place near open flames, such as a fireplace, or heat sources. Doing so may
lead to fire or deforming.
•
Ensure that the power cord is fully inserted into the AC adapter, and that the power
plug is fully inserted into the outlet. Failure to do so may cause heat to be generated
or dust to adhere, leading to fire. Additionally, touching the blades of the power plug
may result in electric shock.
•
Do not connect the power plug to outlets where the plug is loose even when
inserted fully. Doing so may cause heating, and lead to fire. Ask an electrician to
replace electrical outlets.
•
Do not place in unstable locations such as on a wobbly table or on an incline. The
device may fall or topple, leading to injury.
• Do not place the device in locations subject to large amounts of oily smoke,
moisture, or dust, such on a cook top or close to a humidifier. Doing so may lead to
fire or electric shock.
• Do not leave in a location subject to extreme heat, such as in a vehicle with the
windows closed or in direct sunlight. Doing so may lead to damage.
•
Do not set device anywhere that it might accidentally be stepped or sat upon.
Please take particular care with regard to children. The device may fall or break,
leading to injury.
