Useful Functions
4 Select from either [Perfect Mode] or [Master Mode].
5 Select [Save setting to drive].
The set values will be saved to the drive. Settings will be retained even after turning
off the device power.
Displaying PureRead mode
With the device not operating, press and hold the eject button for at least two seconds.
The busy indicator flashes, and the current PureRead mode setting is displayed.
Mode display
Master Mode ― ☆☆ ― ☆☆ ― Returning to the normal operating state.
Perfect Mode ― ☆☆☆ ― ☆☆☆ ― Returning to the normal operating state.
OFF ― ☆ ― ☆ ― Returning to the normal operating state.
☆ : Number of flashing, ―: Off (One second)
Cautions in usage
• The PureRead mode display function cannot be used while the device is operating.
• If power to the drive is turned off without selecting the [ Save setting to the drive ]
checkbox, the settings will revert to the previously saved settings.
• Changing PureRead with the Drive Utility while using the PureRead mode display
function causes the display to be incorrect.
• Ensure that the drive does not operate when pressing and holding the eject button.
