Compositing the Video
By default, channel 8 is set as the source for the DSK. Also, by default, the unit is set to extract black. A white logo or text on black
background can be extracted clearly.
* You can change the DSK source channel or extraction color using the menus (p. 51).

Check the background video.
On [PVW] section of the multi-view monitor, confirm the video to be the background.

Preview the result of compositing.
At the DSK section, press the [PVW] button to make it light up. The video overlaid with the logo or text from source channel (by
default, channel 8) is displayed in [PVW] section of the multi-view monitor. At this stage, the final output has not yet been
changed.

Adjust the amount of keying and the degree of edge blur.
While viewing the preview, use the [LEVEL] dial in the DSK section to adjust the amount of keying.
* You can use the menus to change the degree of edge blur. At the DSK menu, adjust the setting for [Gain]. You can also use [Hue] to adjust the
extraction color.
