Using double kick pedals
The KD-A22 can also be used with double kick pedals.
Adjust the striking points of the two beaters so that they are at
equal distances to the left and right of the batter head’s strike
surface.

Depending on the kick pedal, it might not be possible to attach it to
the bass drum so that the strike point of the two beaters is located
symmetrically to the left and right of the center of the batter head’s
strike surface.
For a bass drum with ten lugs
Adjust the batter head and batter board attachment position so
that the center of the batter board jack is positioned one lug lower.
For a bass drum with eight lugs
Adjust the batter head and batter board attachment position so
that the strike point of the two beaters is located symmetrically to
the left and right of the center of the batter head’s strike surface,
using the position shown in the above illustration as a guideline.
Caution After Assembly Is Complete
If you remove the batter board
Be sure to remove the hoop and front head, and disconnect
the connector before you remove the batter board.
If you attempt to remove the batter board without disconnecting
the connector, you might damage the connector, break wires,
damage the circuit board, or cause malfunctions.
When moving or transporting the drum
Detach the kick pedal before moving or transporting the
drum.
Failure to do so might cause damage or malfunctions.
Connecting to the Drum Sound Module
Connect the KD-A22 to your drum sound module.
Use the included connection cable to make the connection.
Connect the “L” plug of the connection cable to the jack of the
KD-A22.

the KD-A22 with various drum sound modules.
You may need to adjust the trigger parameters depending on
how you’ve mounted the KD-A22 and the location at which you’ve
installed it.
