You can manually set the shutter speed, aperture, and ISO speed for
movie shooting. Using manual exposure to shoot movies is for
advanced users.

Set the Mode Dial to <k>.
 The reflex mirror will make a sound,
then the image will appear on the
LCD monitor.

Select [Movie exposure].
 Press the button and under
the [k1] tab, select [Movie
exposure], then press <0>.

Select [Manual].
 Select [Manual], then press <0>.

Set the shutter speed and
aperture.
 To set the shutter speed, turn the
<6> dial. The settable shutter
speeds vary depending on the frame
rate <9>.
• 6 5 4 : 1/4000 sec. - 1/30 sec.
• 8 7
: 1/4000 sec. - 1/60 sec.
 To set the aperture, hold down the
button and turn the <6>
dial.

Set the ISO speed.
 Press the button and press the
keys or turn the <6>
dial to select the ISO speed.

next page.
