Signal IP ToS
Specify the IP type-of-service (ToS) bits of SIP packets transmitting signals. This setting affects
both TCP and UDP signaling packets.
The IP ToS bits consist eight bits:

Where MSB denotes “Most Significant Bit” and LSB denotes “Least Significant Bit”.
1. Bits 5-7 specify the precedence:
• 111 - Network Control
• 110 - Internetwork Control
• 101 - CRITIC/ECP
(RTP default)
• 100 - Flash Override
• 011 - Flash
(RTCP default)
• 010 – Immediate
• 001 – Priority
• 000 - Routine (normal)
2. Bit 4: 0 = Normal Delay, 1 = Low Delay
(RTP/RTCP default)

3. Bit 3: 0 = Normal Throughput, 1 = High Throughput
(RTP default).
4. Bit 2: 0 = Normal Reliability, 1 = High Reliability
(RTCP default)

5. Bit 0-1: Reserved for Future Use.
System default is 0xA8 (168 in decimal) for SIP signaling packets. Please enter it in decimal.
