Quick Access to Text and Voice Mail Messages
The Quick Message feature lets you quickly read text
messages or retrieve voice mail messages. To access the
Quick Message feature, press and hold either

What happens next depends on which types of messages
are available:
• If only text messages are waiting, Read Text
Messages? is shown in the display. Press <(6 to
go directly to the READ TEXT MESSAGE
Menu. Press
12 to return to Standby Mode.
• If only voice mail messages are waiting, Get
Voice Mail Msgs? is shown in the display. Press
<(6 to call your voice mail access number.
• If both text and voice mail messages are waiting,
your terminal displays a modified version of the
Read Text Messages?
screen, as shown in the
illustration.
In the upper right corner of this screen are two
arrows, which indicate that both voice and text
messages are available. From here, you can access
the READ TEXT MESSAGE Menu by pressing
<(6 , or you can go to the Get Voice Mail
Msgs? screen by pressing 12 ,
