Receiving Voice Mail During a Call

If your terminal receives a voice mail notice during a
call, a brief tone sounds and Voice Mail Received
is briefly shown in the display.

After you end your call, a number and the voice mail
icon are shown in the display.

Listening to Voice Mail When the Icon Is Shown in the
Display

If there is a number beside the voice mail icon in the dis-
play, you have voice mail messages that you have not
heard. To listen to these voice mail messages:

to enter Menu Mode.

Press

until the menu pointer is beside Mes-

sages

.

Press

to open the MESSAGES menu.

Press

Ô

until the menu pointer is beside either

VoiceMsgs1 or VoiceMsgs2

.

To access your home-system access number, move

the cursor to VoiceMsgs1 and press

<(6

. To access

your non-home system access number, move the
cursor to VoiceMsgs2 and press

<(6

. (You can

make a credit card call by pressing and holding

<(6

while in Phone Mode if you previously set up the
option.)

Note!

To set up calling cards, refer to the CALL CARDS
Menu section in the Menu Descriptions chapter

If you have not stored your voice mail number, enter

it now.

Press

<(6

in Phone Mode or

377

in Radio Mode to

call your selected access number.

Storing Your Voice Mail Number

You can store a home-system voice mail access number
and a non-home system access number. It is a good idea
to store your voice mail access number(s) so that a num-
ber automatically displays when you receive a voice mail
notice.

to enter Menu Mode.

until the menu pointer is beside Mes-

sages

.

Press

to open the MESSAGES Menu.

To store a home-system access number, move the

cursor to VoiceMsgs1 and press

. To store a

non-home system access number, move the cursor
to VoiceMsgs2 and press

.

Enter your voice mail phone number on the No:

line.

Press

. SELECTION STORED! is shown in the

display.

Press

twice to exit Menu Mode.
