4.1

If the amount of smoke generated reduces over time, it may indicate that the fibreglass element/wick

needs replacement.

4.2

The fibreglass element is considered to be a consumable item. The part number for the replacement is:

Vs870.01

4.3

Fibreglass Element/Wick Replacement.

4.3.1 Soak replacement fibreglass element/wick in mineral (baby) oil before starting proceedure.

4.3.2 Remove oil filler plug (take care not to tilt machine and spill oil).

4.3.3 remove the 5 screws securing the top cover, and remove it.

4.3.4 remove the vaporiser housing by taking out the 3 4mm hex bolts around its base and laying it to one side.

(see fig.3).

4.3.5 This will expose the element which can be removed by unscrewing the securing screws (A &B in fig.4).

4.3.6 fitting the replacent element is the reverse of 4.3.2 to 4.3.5 above. care should be taken not to damage

the Rubber 'O' Ring within the base of the vapouriser housing (see fig.5) when replacing.
