12v mini air compressor, Instructions for, Model
WARNING! Ensure that you read, understand and apply the Safety Instructions before using the
compressor.
WARNING! Connect only to 12V DC supply capable of providing a current of at least 9 amps.
Note: See over for reference picture.
3.1. Tyre inflation
3.1.1. Remove the dust cap from the tyre valve and push the connector (A - locking lever in line with
connector body, as shown) onto the valve as far as it will go. Lock in place by pressing down the
locking lever. If air loss can be heard remove the connector and then refit.
3.1.2. With the compressor switch (G) and the light switch (H) in the Off position plug the cigarette lighter
adaptor into the vehicle’s lighter socket. Note that it may be necessary to turn on the ignition to get
power to the lighter socket.
3.1.3. Switch on the compressor and the light, if required (see 2.3.).
3.1.4. When the gauge (F) shows the required pressure (see vehicle handbook) switch off the compressor
and unlock and remove the connector (A) from the tyre valve. Refit the tyre valve dust cap.
3.1.5. At the first opportunity have the tyre pressure checked with a gauge of known accuracy.
3.2. Inflatables
3.2.1. Select the appropriate adaptor from those provided (C) and secure it in the connector (A).
3.2.2. Insert the adaptor into the inflatable and proceed as in 2.1. to connect and start the compressor.
Take care not to over-inflate.
3.3. Light
3.3.1. The light switch (H) in position I gives a steady light while position II gives a flashing (hazard) light.
3.3.2. Two lenses are provided, clear and amber (D). To change lenses pull off the flexible retaining ring (E).

3. OPERATION
Familiarise yourself with the application, limitations and potential hazards of the compressor.
WARNING! Disconnect the compressor from the battery before changing accessories, servicing or
performing any maintenance.
Use only the supplied adaptors.
Maintain the
compressor in good condition, DO NOT use if damaged.
Ensure that there are no flammable or combustible materials (including gases) near the compressor when in use.
WARNING! This compressor is capable of high pressure.
DO NOT exceed the maximum safe pressure of
the item being inflated.
WARNING! The gauge on the compressor is for guidance only. Where pressure is critical (e.g. tyres)
check with a gauge of known accuracy.
DO NOT leave compressor operating unattended.
DO NOT operate in wet or damp conditions.
WARNING! To prevent overheating and subsequent damage to the unit, switch off after 10 minutes
continuous operation and allow to cool for 30 minutes before switching back on.
After use store in a safe, dry, childproof area with the connector locking lever in the unlocked position.
2. INTRODUCTION
Stylish and compact composite case incorporating cable tidy on base. Powered by high power 12V motor and
suitable for inflating tyres on cars, vans and 4x4s. Integral gauge reads up to 17bar/250psi. Features
worklight and flashing emergency light and is supplied with a 3m power cable with plug for use in a cigarette
lighter socket, 600mm high pressure hose with clip on connector and accessory kit including ball needle and
adaptors for inflatables.
