Thank you for purchasing a Sealey Product. Manufactured to a high standard this product will, if used according to these instructions and
properly maintained, give you years of trouble free performance.
1. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING! Ensure Health & Safety, local authority and general workshop practice regulations are adhered to
when using this equipment.
Familiarise yourself with the applications, limitations and potential hazards of this tool.
Maintain the
tool in good condition. Replace or repair damaged parts. Use genuine parts only. Unauthorised
parts may be dangerous and will invalidate the warranty.
Keep the work area clean, uncluttered and ensure there is adequate lighting.
WARNING! Wear approved safety eye protection (standard spectacles are not adequate).
Maintain correct balance and footing. Ensure the floor is not slippery and wear non-slip shoes.
Remove ill fitting clothes. Remove ties, watches, rings and other loose jewellery. Contain or tie back long hair.
Wear appropriate protective clothing.
Keep children and unauthorised persons away from the working area.
DO NOT operate the tool if parts are damaged or missing as this may cause failure and/or personal injury.
DO NOT use the tool for a task it was not designed to perform.
DO NOT allow untrained persons to use the tool.
DO NOT operate tool if you are tired, or under the influence of alcohol, drugs or intoxicating medication.
When not in use clean and store the tool in a safe, dry, childproof location.
Allows the piston to be held safely in the extended position when replacing internal rebound spring shock absorbers
(MacPherson Strut.) These shock absorbers are used to reduce vehicle roll and in some cases replaces the use of
the anti-roll bar which is becoming more popular on modern vehicles. Features a piston shaft clamp with nylon jaws
and telescopic puller.
